Sean Gohl, 2007 Very Important Patient My name is Sean Gohl. Almost 21 years ago, after birth, I contracted spinal meningitis...the result leaving me with Cerebral Palsy and a seizure disorder. At 2-months of age, I entered the Early Intervention Program and began physical and occupational therapy to keep my contracted muscles moveable. I have had many orthopedic surgeries, which have enabled me to keep mobile and active. Therapy has always been a part of my life. In 2005, I started at ACRC. While my physical therapist, Jingle, always has something new to try and is currently working on my walking with a gait trainer, my occupational therapist, Carol, works very hard to keep my right arm and hand loose. With continued help from Jingle, Carol, Helen and Shannon, I hope to stay mobile and walking for a very long time! (back to news main) |
